Health Visitors

All families with a child under five in Darlington have access to a Growing Healthy 0-5 Team consisting of health visitors, early years practitioners and infant feeding specialists. Health Visitors offer advice related to family health and promote health education. They carry out routine developmental checks and hearing tests for babies and young children and discuss with parents any aspect of growth, feeding, sleeping and behaviour in the young. They can be seen at one of the local Children's Centres and can be contacted via the Foundation Trust on 03000 263538.  Please note the Health Visitors are no longer responsible for the immunisation of your baby/child.  Please contact the surgery for further information on this.
