As of the 30th January 2017 you will NOT be able to order your prescriptions by telephone. You can order through your selected pharmacy / online through systm online / in person at the surgery or by post.

Denmark Street Surgery is a NO SMOKING area, this includes the buildings and the car park.
 

Denmark Street Surgery is a purpose built surgery providing health care to all our patients. We have car parking facilities available opposite the entrance to the Surgery. It would be helpful if visitors to the Surgery use the car park to avoid congestion in Denmark Street.
 
Wheelchair access is available to most areas of the surgery. Every patient registered at the Practice will be allocated a named GP who will be responsible for their care. You will be informed via a number of routes including text message, prescription note, verbal and on any routine letter we send you. If you have any queries, please contact us.
 

We can now offer you weekend appointments! do you have difficulty in attending due to work, childcare or carer issues? Please ask for information

 
 
 

 Please note the surgery will be closed from 12.00pm - 6.00pm on Tuesday 20th September 2016 for protected learning time for our staff. No extended access appointments will be available.

If you need medical advice during this time please telephone 111 and you will directed to the most appropriate service.

Additional facilities are now housed in our annexe and you will find our Practice Nurse team working here.
 
There is a choice of Chemists in the immediate vicinity. Details of the Duty Chemist can be obtained from the Surgery, alternatively, details are published in local newspapers. There are good bus services to and from most areas of the town.

We had 365 appointments classified as ‘Did Not Attend’ (DNA) in July 2016- i.e. the patient did not turn up for the appointment and did not contact the surgery in advance to cancel/change appointment.
