SYSTMONLINE A NEW WAY OF ORDERING YOUR MEDICATION - EASIER, FASTER, DIRECT TO OUR CLINICAL SYSTEM

SystmOne is the clinical system that we use at the Surgery for booking appointments, preparing prescriptions and updating medical records. We now have a version of this called SystmOnline which enables patients to book or cancel their own appointments and order prescriptions in a much easier way. Each patient will be given a username and password to access this system. Please contact the Surgery for more information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We are delighted to inform you that we have appointed two new Partners for the Practice. Dr Dan Palmer and Dr Bev Hammill.  Dr Palmer is now up and running and Dr Hammill will commence from September working part time. We are delighted to be able to continue to offer appointments for those patients who have already built up the doctor-patient relationship with our two new arrivals!

LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT?
Please give a thought to those patients with appointments booked after yourself. If you are running late, please let us know. We will try, where possible, to enable you to be seen however all clinics are booked at various different intervals. Therefore, as a general rule if you are more than half of your appointment length late (5 mins late for a 10 minute consultation, 15 mins for a 30 minute consultation) we will ask you to re-book.
All the doctors and nurses have strict appointment times and we appreciate there are occasions where we ourselves run late and we will do all that we can to inform and update you. Thank you.

PRESCRIPTIONS
Patients are still requesting prescriptions without giving us the required 48 hours notice. This is required for your safety. Please remember to order your medication once you have opened or are halfway through your last pack of medication. The Practice has not introduced this new policy without any thought to your health but is intended to ensure that errors and mistakes are reduced and the due care and attention is given to each individual prescription requested, printed and signed
You do not need to make an appointment with your doctor to obtain repeat medication. Once your doctor is satisfied that you are stable on your medication, he/she will place this on repeat for you to enable you to order this. You will be responsible for this. If you find it difficult to remember to order your medication, try using a chemist to do this for you.

EVENING APPOINTMENTS - AVAILABILITY
For patients who find it difficult to attend the surgery during the working day, we are now able to offer a limited number of early morning (7.30 - 8.00am) appointments (Monday - Friday) and evening appointments , Monday - Thursday (6.00pm - 7.00pm) with a doctor. These will be bookable in advance. These appointments are for routine problems.
For Emergencies or advice please ring the Out of Hours freephone number 111 after 6.00pm for help and advice.

  • Via fax on 01325 362183
  • When ringing the Practice to make an appointment
If we can’t contact you, you may have a wasted journey!!!! Please help us! Thank you.
